Photographer and Visual artis, Tomás is born in Brazil but lives in France since 2015, where he did most of his education. Graduated from Sorbonne university on Latin american studies and from Paris VIII university on fine arts and photography studies, Tomás is particularly interested by mixing photography and sculpture, working materiality and volume in photography.
For instance the artist works with severals differents non photographic technics and materials, like ciment and plaster for moulding, mixing it up with artisanal and old photographic process.
Tomás is also member of a collective of artists called “La vie sauvage”, located in Saint-Denis, suburban of Paris where Tomás installed his work-shop.
